Technical Details: Component-Level Micro-Soldering vs. Costly Logic Board Swaps
Official Apple repair centers usually quote $900+ by forcing you to replace the entire logic board for a single burnt capacitor or corroded power rail. Our Newcastle laboratory uses high-magnification trinocular microscopes and thermal cameras to identify and replace failed micro-components, saving you hundreds of dollars.
Our 3-Step Precision Repair Process:
- Thermal Diagnostic: Infrared thermal imaging pinpoints shorted diodes, resistors, or power management ICs.
- Micro-Soldering: Precision hot-air rework stations remove fried surface-mount devices and solder new components.
- Load & Thermal Stress Test: We verify CPU thermals, sleep/wake sensors, and battery charging cycles under maximum workload.
